At the construction site next door, they poured the first deck of the building. Soon I'll lose my view of the clock tower (to tell time) although I can certainly count the bells to tell time...but it's such a pretty clock tower!
I will also lose my view of the bakery shop beyond the building. In addition, I'll have to keep in mind that when they are building the second deck, they will be on the same level as our apartment. I've GOT to get some drapes in here! I like my privacy.
