Day 370: Bamburg, Germany

We thought we would spend another day tooling around Bamburg.  There's a castle near here that we wanted to see.  We were sure it was closed but we could at least take some photos of it from the outside.  I'm not sure what the name of the castle was but it was fun to go  there.

This is a photo of the inside of the gate.  As you can see there are not many people out and about today because of the weather.   The entrance gate is so enormous, I couldn't get it one photo.

This is the right side of the castle gate.

This is the left side of the castle gate.

This is the castle.  It was not open to the public.  I was freezing so I bagged it and went to the car.  Ted wanted to walk around the castle to see what was behind (or rather in front ) of it.

It turns out there was a  fountain on the other side of the castle.

As you can see, the weather turned ugly and since the castle was closed to visitors, we decided to bag it after taking some photos of the castle.

By the time we got home it was early evening so we had dinner at Mamma Maria's.  When we finally got home, we watched some TV consisting of old movies from Apple iTunes and Apple TV.  The time change happened last night.  We spring ahead which means more hours of daylight now.  The U.S. had their time change several weeks ago.
